16th HVAC conference, Lisbon, Portugal
On 20 of October took place the 16th HVAC conference in the city of Lisbon, Portugal.
The Specialization Commission on Climate Engineering, in collaboration with the national sections of ASHRAE and REHVA, promoted on 20 of October of 2016, the 16th HVAC Conference.

This conference was organized by the national engineer association of Portugal and the theme is "The importance of the water in climatization" and "Hydrogeology and Geothermal Energy”.

Professor Luis Coelho, from IPS, made a presentation about the European H2020 TESSe2b project, which is coordinating, and talked about the use of thermal energy storage, by combining the use of phase change materials with solar and geothermal energy.

The audience was mostly composed by Engineers and HVAC installers and proved to be very receptive and interested about the project ideas.

TESSe2b project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, under the Grant Agreement number 680555.
