Kick off meeting – TESSe2b

On the 5th of October 2015 took place the first meeting of the European project TESSe2b (Thermal Energy Storage Systems for Energy Efficient Buildings. An integrated solution for residential building energy storage by solar and geothermal resources). All ten partners met in the city of Brussels, with motivation and desire to start this new project.

The meeting went on for a couple of days, and started with the participation of the project officer, José Riesgo, where it was explained specific managerial issues, according to the foreseen agenda. Then it was time for the project leader, Luis Coelho, to welcome all the partners and invite everyone to briefly introduce themselves. During the meeting all the partners had their intervention time where they spoke about their role in the project and how, in their opinion, certain issues could be solved and overcome.

The meeting was a success and all the partners were pleased to be able to contribute to this innovative project. Everyone left the meeting aware of their duties and objectives, conscious that the success of the project depends of each partner commitment.

The second TESSe2b meeting will take place at the city of Setubal, Portugal, on the 7th and 8th of April. It is expected the presence of all partners, so they can show all the new developments in the project and discuss future goals.
